The Lions Club has been very supportive of the Community Market and it would be great if we could support them. Questions? Speak to John Lord.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE YOUR PRAYER LIFE
This Summer Fr. Craig is working with Mother Eileen Lindemann, the Priest in Charge at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Charlestown, to bring the Ignation 19th Annotation to St. Peter’s by-the-Sea.
The 19th annotation is designed for people longing to find a deeper relationship with God through contemplative action and journaling all leading to a greater awareness of the Holy Spirit’s presence is in our lives. For those who are interested there will be a two-hour orientation session to be held sometime in late August and/or early September.
If you believe God is calling you into a deeper prayer life, or seeking something more spiritually, please come to introductory meetings on August 31 and September 7.
This summer the Adult Forum Team is looking to hear from you. Our goal for the 2017/2018 program year is to design our program around your questions of faith. No question is too small or too large. It just needs to be something you have wondered about in relation to the church or the church’s dogma that you never had nerve to ask.
To facilitate this process, Fr. Craig has placed sheets of newsprint on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall with markers on the table nearby. Just write away, all questions are anonymous. Each week we will announce in Constant Contact and the Bulletin the question for the week and who will be leading the discussion.
ALTAR FLOWERS OR SANCTUARY LAMP
Please remember that there is a sign-up sheet (on the bulletin board across from the kitchen) to request dedicating altar flowers or the sanctuary lamp candle in memory or thanksgiving. Sign up early to get a particular Sunday of importance; maybe to remember a birthday or the anniversary of a loved one’s passing.
We are trying to have on record everyone’s date of birth, but are missing almost half of our congregation. Please send a quick email to the Church Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) to give us each family member’s birthday. Thank you.
SHOP AT AMAZON & SUPPORT ST. PETER’S

Remember that Morning Prayer is being said Tuesday-Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
